Lewis Carter

The third generation chairman of Lewis M. Carter Manufacturing Company, Lewis is a graduate of Auburn University and a naval veteran. After assuming chairmanship and ownership of the LMC Group in 1988, he expanded the business from the traditional role as the world leader in peanut processing machinery. Lewis has been employed at LMC for over 25 years. He is active in Donalsonville Church of Christ where he serves as a deacon, and is also a director of Lipscomb University, Nashville Tennessee.

The LMC Group has over 250 employees with operations in Georgia, California and western Canada. LMC is the world’s largest manufacturer of commercial peanut and almond equipment.

Larry Evans

Larry is an Executive Committee Member of Dixon Hughes PLLC, one of the 20 largest CPA firms in the US. His areas of concentration are agribusiness, manufacturing, and international tax and finance companies. He is recognized nationally in the cotton, peanut, pecan, almond, and related agriculture equipment and service businesses. Larry holds a BS and MBA in Economics from the University of Tennessee and was a Distinguished Military Student Graduate, achieving the rank of Captain in the U.S. Army. He worked as a tax manager with Peat Marwick, a predecessor of KPMG, before co-founding a local firm in 1977 that ultimately became Dixon Hughes.

Jim Karle

Jim Karle is the President/CEO of Corporate Business Solutions and has been in this capacity since joining the company in March 1997. He has overall responsibility for the strategic direction and business development efforts of the company. Jim is a past board member and officer of the Georgia Association of Professional Employer Organizations. Prior to joining the company he spent almost nine years with Price Waterhouse as both an auditor and investment banker working with public and privately held entrepreneurial businesses. He holds a BBA in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame, is an avid tennis player and has been active with such community organizations as Starlight Foundation, Junior Achievement and the German School of Atlanta.
